Cook Chickpea
1 and 1/2 Cups Chickpeas
Overnight soak the chickpeas.
1 Tsp Salt
5 Cups Water
Cook chickpeas with salt and water, allow it to boil, reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 45 minutes.
Yields: 4 and 1/2 Cups Cooked Chickpeas
Crunchy Spicy Oven Roasted Chickpeas
Filter water, leave it for an hour or two for the chickpea to drain.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Roast them for 30 minutes. Shake them every 10 minutes. (After 30 minutes, i took it out and left it for an hour before proceeding with the next step, its because I was so hungry and I wanted to eat my lunch before making this.)

1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder1/4 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper Powder
1/4 Tsp Smoked Paprika
1/2 Tsp Oregano
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Tsp Chili Powder
1 Tsp Cumin Powder
Toss them with olive oil and other spices, cook them for another 60 minutes, shake them every 15 minutes.
