Palak Pulao

Serves: 4

2 cups rice
4 cups water

Cook rice

2 tbsp coconut oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
8 red chilies, broken and seeds removed


Heat oil in a pan, add onion, red chilies, sauté for 5 minutes.

1 cups peas
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup water

Add peas, salt, water and cook until peas are cooked, about 10 minutes.

12 ounces spinach (2 Tj spinach bags), chopped


Add spinach and sauté until it shrinks.

2 tsp salt

Add salt, mix well.

Add cooked rice, mix well.


Yields: 9 cups
