Spinach Masiyal / Kale Masiyal


3/4 Cup Water
2 Green Chilies
1 Tsp Salt

Allow water, green chilies and salt to boil for 5 minutes.

16 Oz Spinach Box


Add spinach and cook for few minutes. I took out 3 handful of spinach for Key Lime Pie


1/4 Cup Shallots
1/4 cup water


Once the spinach is cooled, grind the cooked spinach with pearl onions in blender. DO NOT GRIND TO A SMOOTH PASTE LIKE THE ONE IN MY PICTURE, TAKE IT OUT AFTER ITS COARSELY GROUND, THE KALE TASTED GOOD, WHEN IT WAS COARSELY GROUND, BUT AFTER IT BECAME SMOOTH PASTE, IT BECAME REALLY BITTER. But we usually make the night before and eat this for the next day lunch, it tasted really good for lunch.
